The fall Kindermusik semester ended in December around my Christmas tree with everyone looking so festive!
Santa brought lime green "I'm a Kindermusik Kid" t-shirts as a special gift to my students!

Village Class (babies to 18 months)
With Kindermusik classes underway and my broken ankle healing nicely it’s been fun to get out and about to enjoy some fall festivities.
In September we went to the Fall Festival at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA – one of our favorite Amish Country destinations with our daughter Tera-Lee and her daughter Bethany.
In October we drove to Chicago for the annual Kindermusik Convention, a gathering of about 500 licensed educators from around the world. There’s nothing like being together with so many others who love children and music and sound like an angel choir when they sing.
And since our son and his family live in Chicago we were able to spend time with them as well.
The slideshow tells the story – enjoy!
HOORAY! The Kindermusik semester is now in full swing with lots of singing, dancing, swaying, rocking, happy, smiling children and parents. What a blessing to have all of that happening right here in my home. Here’s my latest slideshow creation which features pictures from my FREE Preview Classes held on September 19 and 20. Since then the semester officially began on September 26 and 27 with all classes now filled!
Please call or email if you would like to attend a FREE Preview Class on any Weds or Thurs in Oct/Nov/Dec and get your name on the list for the new semester that will start in January.
Remember, with Kindermusik . . . a good beginning never ends!
The Kindermusik semester will soon begin and I couldn't be happier! As I prepare my lessons for this fall I am reminded again why I do this. As soon as I put in a Kindermusik CD and the music starts I'm lifted up, inspired and I vow to never quit teaching this stuff as long as I am able. And this summer it has been quite a challenge to keep going.
On July 22 I fell in NYC on the first day of our vacation and broke my ankle. Of course I didn't know it was broken until 11 days later when I went to the foot doctor to have surgery on an ingrown toenail and he said he thought because my ankle was all black and blue and swollen it was probably broken - go figure! Well, after the x-rays confirmed his diagnosis he put me in a boot cast and let me walk on it for 2 weeks until I got to another doctor who said - not to walk on it, get around on crutches or in a wheelchair and I'll see you back in 3 weeks. Well, that has now turned into 5 weeks and it looks like the day before my classes start I will be able to walk again with the boot cast on. But, this will not stop me from doing what I love - sharing the magic of Kindermusik with the parents, babies, toddlers, preschoolers and children who will be joining me for classes this fall.
Speaking of which, I am excited about 2 new classes that I will be offering - Kindermusik Family Time (for children newborn to 7 years old) and ABC Music & Me (a pre-keyboarding class for ages 4 - 6 years) - more info at www.WelcomeLittleOnes.com I love getting new curriculum from Kindermusik and when the UPS truck drops it off a package at my house I can't wait to tear it open.
Speaking of my house - this is where I'll be holding my classes this fall and I am excited about this as well. I have a large child-friendly family room that I have cleared out to make as much room as possible. Then after class you are welcome to explore the swings, slide, gardens and pond. It'll kind of be like a trip to "Nana's" house!
Which is what I am and I had the joy this summer of having both my grandchildren stay overnight in my home without their parents. We had a blast and it was like reliving the "good old days" when my own babies were that age and just like that - a girl older and then a little boy.
Well, the "good old days" is where most of you that are reading this are right now. And I hope I can make your days just a little brighter with the joy of music when I see you in a Kindermusik music class later this month.
